The short version: LineupIQ does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information about you or your players — ever. All data you enter stays on your device and in your own cloud storage.
Information We Collect
We collect no personal information of any kind. LineupIQ does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use the app.
The app does not contain any analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or third-party data collection tools.
How Your Data Is Stored
Any data you enter into LineupIQ — including player names, statistics, batting orders, and scouting notes — is stored in one of two places:
- Locally on your device — data is cached in your browser's local storage or the app's local storage and never leaves your device unless you explicitly sync it.
- Your own cloud storage — if you use the sync feature, your roster data is saved to a private storage bucket that only you can access. We do not have access to this data, and it is not associated with any identity.
We do not store your data on our servers. We do not have a database of users or player records.
Player Information
LineupIQ is designed for use with youth sports teams. We take the privacy of minors seriously. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any player information to us. Any player names or statistics you enter remain entirely under your control.
Player statistics imported from GameChanger CSV exports are processed entirely within your device and are never sent to LineupIQ servers or any third party.
Cookies & Tracking
LineupIQ does not use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or any other tracking technologies. We do not track your usage of the app, your location, your device, or your browsing behavior.
Third-Party Services
LineupIQ uses the following third-party services solely for app functionality:
- Vercel — hosts the web application. Vercel may log standard server access logs (IP address, request time) as part of their infrastructure. These logs are subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — loads the Barlow typeface. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media tracking.
Children's Privacy
LineupIQ is a tool for coaches managing youth sports teams. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, no special handling for children's data is required.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection practices without clearly communicating that change.
